THE BULLDOG BAR IN COSTA TEGUISE,    15th February 2017,

A huge thanks to Mick Allsop owner of the Bulldog Bar in Costa Teguise (opposite Oceano Hotel) for sponsoring U.D. Lanzarote’s with an advert in the clubs first ever annual 2016/17.

Mick known as Tigger to everyone who knows him is originally from Quinton in Birmingham has been for many years a season ticket holder and this year has become a Socio (member) of the club. On asking him whether he would be interested to sponsor the club he immediately offered to do so.

As an enormous West Bromwich Albion fan it would be a sin if a Baggie supporter during their holiday in Costa Teguise did not stroll in for a pint.

The Bulldog Bar is located opposite the Oceano Hotel in central Costa Teguise.

Tigger has been on the island for 17 years with the last 10 of those as owner of The Bulldog, he has a unique humour and it will not be just a Birmingham City or an Aston Villa supporter that Tigger will wind up, he is openly minded and will respond in the same manner whether you follow Man Utd, Liverpool or Arsenal, even a friendly Torquay United supporter can fall foul to Tigger’s humour.

The Bulldog shows all sports but any Baggies game will take precedence on their main TV over any event. There is a dart board and pool tables, most nights Karaoke will be on with Tigger not shy to belt out a tune or two. Anyone going up to sing will automatic qualify for a free shot.

If you haven’t been able to pop up Teguise market to get your official Lanzarote shirt you can get them from The Bulldog in both home and away colours and in 10 sizes.

Cheers Tigger.
